Amore Tokyo
Happy Valentine's Day! I didn't realize how big the holiday had become in Japan until my most recent visit. There were chocolate pop-up shops all over the city. Combined with strawberry season....love and $$$ were in the air.

In honor of the season of love, I decided to feature some of the cute Valentine's Day displays that I saw. First up is a cute pastry shop and cafe that recently opened in Ginza called Bon Bonheur. They are located on the 4th Floor of the Mitsukoshi building, and not only do they have a view of the city, they also have some amazing desserts.
Their dark hot chocolate was ♥️♥️♥️ and the berry dust hearts were a cute and delicious added touch. But, the stars of the show are their speciality plated desserts. It was VERY hard to pick just one, but I eventually chose an apply pastry with purple sweet potato ice-cream.
In a word - Delightful!

Not to be outdone, Louis Vutton had several adorable chocolate displayed in honor of the commercial holiday.

And, their strawberry season being such a big deal in Japan, there was no shortage of the fresh fruit. Restaurants made sure to incorporate them into just about every Valentine's Day confection you could thing of.
