BRUNCH
ANY weekend is a good weekend for brunch. Why not kick off Saturday or Sunday with the perfect boozy brunch. Here are my top three personal brunch spot favorites.
Studio Café: Amazing views and great food. My favorite menu item is ‘The Cure Fish Burger’ complete with spicy jerk sauce and coconut rum & mango chutney, as well as the watermelon mint lemonaid. Also, feel free to add a shot of vodka!
Shima: Who can go wrong with a roti smoked salmon benedict and thai mojitos????
Island House Coffee Bar: The Island House Coffee Bar has a great, and affordable breakfast menu that includes fresh pastries, parfaits, smokes salmon, pancakes and more.
DAY TRIP TO BRILAND
Why not hop on board a fast ferry into Briland (Harbour Island) for a day of fun as you lounge atop a beautiful pink sand beach? http://bahamasferries.com/
TRU BAHAMAS FOOD TOURS
Why not try the Tru Bahamas food tour? The Bay Street centric tour lasts several hours, and visits many spots that you may not normally frequent on your own. https://www.trubahamianfoodtours.com/
BAHAMAS NATIONAL ART GALLERY
Did you know that the entry into the art gallery is free for Bahamians every Sunday? Well, it is. Check out this lovely gem in Nassau to take in some Bahamian talent. http://nagb.org.bs/visit/
