Transforming Spaces – Bringing Art, Music & Good Vibes to Downtown Nassau

This past weekend was the annual Transforming Spaces event, in New Providence, and it was amazing. A number of Bahamian artists put forth some of their best works of art, and the event felt like a celebration of creativity and culture.

For the first time, in perhaps forever, I walked the side streets of downtown, and not only discovered immersive works of art and beautiful jewelry, but also some of the free spirits of the island.

It was impossible for me to pick a favorite piece, but certainly the post impressive art installation was the giant Junkanoo statues at the Popop Art Studio.

I am definitely looking forward to next year!
