On September 20-21, Bahamian musicians - singers, songwriters, producers, and writers - attended the iCreate Music Seminar at the Atlantis Resort. A number of industry heavyweights gave the Bahamian Grown talent the dirty rundown of how the music industry really works and encouraged them to find their niche - what makes them unique - and to go after their dreams with everything that they have.
The speakers included:
Bernard “Focus” Edwards who has produced MAJOR HITS for Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Busta Rhymes and The Game ....just to name a few.
Symbolyc One who has worked with Kanye West, Jay Z, Beyonce, Talib Kweli 50 Cent, and Eminem.
Donnie Scantz who has worked with the late, great Alliyah, Usher, Will Smith, Chris Brown, Miguel, Pitbull, Rhianna, and Jhene Aiko.
The seminar ended in an epic beat battle, and GREATNESS was undoubtedly born.
